Psychic Power
Psychic powers can only be possessed by an individual who has an extraordinary understanding of the supernatural world. This type of person is called a psychic. A psychic has the ability to perceive information hidden from ordinary people. While these powers can entertain or even help other people, some critics attribute them to intentional trickery.
Psychic powers are used to predict the future or even resolve a problem. This power is obtained by a psychic from the very moment they were born. They may have inherited them from their parents, grandparents, or from their ancestors. To those who exert special efforts even though their families’ history does not include psychics, such powers can be achieved. So if you ever want to gain this kind of power or ability, you must learn to accept the basic concept of universal consciousness and make it a part of your thoughts and beliefs because the more you accept it, the more you will be able to develop your inner psychic abilities.
In the mid-nineteenth century, psychic powers became popular in the United States and the United Kingdom. And by the late twentieth century, psychics and their psychic powers were associated with New Age culture. These days psychic readings can even be offered through phones, in person, or at psychic fairs.
Psychic powers come in many forms. Some of which are the following:
- Telekinesis – this refers to the movement of objects scientifically inexplicable means, as by the exercise of a supernatural power. This also refers to the using of powers to create movement or action in a physical object.
- Materialization – this means the objective appearance of a deceased or departed spirit, meaning the dead spirit has returned. This also means the process of coming into being or becoming reality. There is sometimes an extraordinary graphic resemblance of the spirit when it was in human body.
- Will Prayer – a will prayer show itself as a “mysterious power of thought”. This is said to be so powerful that it can make an idea a reality. This is also said to be the divine gift which changes the spiritual will into the psychic.
- Crystal Ball gazing – this can also be referred to as “astral visioning”. A psychic looks into the crystal ball, looks into the distance, and then he can predict the future. This may be because the astral light can be collected and concentrated in the mirror in form of images or visions that the psychic is able to read and interpret.
- Telepathy – this means the “transfer of thought”. It is the stimulation of mental states from one mind to another. So many attempts have been done to detect and probably use telepathy. The scientific world, however, does not recognize telepathy as a real occurrence or an observable fact because it has never been really demonstrated greatly.
- Psychic Dowsing – this involves the idea of locating or detecting any matter or physical being with the use of psychic powers.
- Psychic Eye- is often defined as the opening of a person’s awareness towards objects that are beyond the definition of normal or ordinary.
Psychic power - Egg Psychic
Egg psychic is one of the techniques of psychic powers use that involves liquids and the predictive patterns they make. In Louisiana today, for example, breaking a raw egg and reading the way the yolk and white separate is still in use. This technique has been described by Tracey Peterson, who recalled that her great-grandmother, Alexina Charpentier Renaud, used to break three eggs into three glasses of water and say that she saw images in the feeler of the eggs.
On one occasion Renaud used egg divination to locate her son, Randolph, a soldier stationed in France during World War I until peace agreement. He had been writing regularly but then his whereabouts became unknown. His mother decided to 'ask an egg'. When she did so, she saw in the egg 'a tiny image of a train', including miniature passengers. When Randolph returned, he confirmed that at the time his mother had practiced egg psychic, he had indeed been on the train heading for Louisiana.
